I love this pattern, so I bought it from Victor’s Etsy shop (link to it is in his profile). But I wanted a smaller one. So I resized the whole thing to 50% of the original in Illustrator, and cut it from two 9x12 sheets of Canson watercolor art board, which are almost exactly 1/16th of an inch. Love how it turned out (the cat approves):
Final size is 5.5” high x 4.5” across.

I had a little trouble with things falling apart before I could get them together, because the artboard is slightly thinner than 1/16”. But once I added a dot of glue here and there (not very much really) I had no trouble at all. I’m guessing that if true 1/8” material is used the whole thing is snap fit.
