Prototyping with Corrugated Cardboard

update: You guys are right.
Thanks for the better settings.
No finger joints. No cuts really close together.

What are they? Test files.
Cut and engrave, fiddle with settings, cut and engrave again.
The kids say they are a matching game.

What settings did you find worked for cutting/engraving?

I liked @marmak3261 40/60 seems pretty good.

Now that we have the low-end stuff this should become more interesting. (If you can etch copier paper successfully, surely itā€™s plausible to sneak up on the numbers for cardboard. And Iā€™d think that as fast as possible might be best, but I donā€™t know. Thereā€™s a whole box of white-on-one-side waiting for me in the garage.)

Hi,
Iā€™m reading your comments on prototyping with corrugated cardboard. Can you explain the 40/60 numbers? When I look at the GFUI for manual cutting, I canā€™t see anything that seems similar. Thanks.

Those are using the old scale for the PRUsā€¦donā€™t try to use them.

There are current settings for corrugated cardboard in the Beyond the Manual category. A quick search for ā€œSettings for Corrugated Cardboardā€ will pull them up.
