Pull-out shelf for Glowforge?

I’m thinking along these lines, in order to utilise the pass-through slot in a small work room.
I’ve an idea that someone has already tried this, so I’d be very grateful if they, or anyone who remembers that idea, to get in touch, or link me to the original thread.
