Could someone please help me. I’m trying to take my grandma’s hand written recipe and engrave it on a cutting board. I tried the trace feature, but a lot of it is too light.
I don’t have any specific advice for you other than to use the search feature…there are several posts about this and hopefully you will find some help in them. Just type in ‘recipe on cutting board’ into the search bar and it will bring these up;

You will probably need to take a photo of it and do some work in a program like Gimp to pull out the writing, and only the writing. If there is lined paper it will be easier to take out a different color if it is a different color than trying to do so when everything is grayscale, but in general you want to increase the contrast until you can select all the text and then turn the selection into a path and export the path as an .svg
