Definitely. The good thing is your self-sourced designs will work on another machine. Lightburn is supported by most manufacturers and is pretty easy to use. It’s just the Glowforge sourced ones that can’t be downloaded that are lost to you unless you recreate them in something like Inkscape.

The designs in the Glowforge catalog are made to be cut with a Glowforge. This is a copyright security matter that keeps them from spreading even as it reduces the ability for it to be sold for use on other machines.
Anything you make yourself (including all the AI stuff) can be saved to your computer as an SVG and used on any machine using Lightburn or other driver.
