It 100% depends on what you’re making, but acrylic and slate or other stones have practically zero debris…you’re not cutting stone of course, but engraving is definitely a thing.

I’m making chests, dice boxes, trinket boxes, wooden roses, jewelry, jewelry boxes. All made from wood. I’ve sent in the pictures requested and now I’ll wait to see what they say

Yup it definitely is MDF in the middle. If it is not MDF they will usually make a point of saying so.
This is Baltic Birch and a better price. Birch is also stronger.

So support got back to me and said to just give the laser head a good clean, and try again.
