Self-Adhesive Leather

I bought some self adhesive leather that I plan on affixing to hats. Is there anyone out there that has tried something similar willing to share their settings?

Welcome back! Before you get into finding out about settings, just make sure the ‘leather’ material you want to use is free of PVC. If it’s faux leather, sometimes it has stuff in it that should not be used with your Glowforge. That being said, testing is your friend. You will probably need to sacrifice one of your patches to get it just right. Start off using the drop down menu for proofgrade leathers and do your tests using those.
Best of luck!

Ditto. If you are going to use non-standard materials, you should be intimately familiar with creating custom settings for yourself by means of testing.

There’s no need to be intimidated by it, it is well documented in the learning section, and it simply comes down to using standard settings for something similar as a starting point to fine tune for the precise material you all have on hand.

As there are many strengths of spray adhesive I would be looking there. They could be used on any material, and after it is cut, so pvc is not an issue in that case.
Once you discover that the adhesive is pvc free, and the leather is at least not an issue chemically looking at the details of the company, you will need to experiment starting with the official leather settings and then modify from there.
