After the fourth mailbox gave its life in support of bored teenagers, he decided to put a stop to it. So he dug about a three foot hole, well off the road so passing motorists wouldn’t accidentally hit it, filled it with concrete, embedded a pipe, also filled with concrete, topped it off with a mailbox inside of a mailbox with concrete in between.

We did that with the predecessor mailbox. Used a concrete lally column 5 feet in the ground (3’ above).

The dragon has a similar treatment - he was slipped over the column and then filled with more concrete. Helps protect him from snowplows too.

Perhaps a giant toothpick to get the Mail out from getting stuck in his teeth

We stick things in his claws. Over Christmas he had an elve’s leg he was eating Bunny Frou-Frou is next up.

Red LEDs in his mouth and a smoke tube for a fog machine connection is a big hit for Halloween but the smoke isn’t instant on because the machine has to heat the fluid so it can’t be motion activated

CO2 fire extinguisher but a red glow that went from 0-6 volts in 10 seconds and then the fog machine slowly increase not terrible either.
