Snapmark placement on jig

Hello,

New to Snapmark…I’ve done some searching and reading but haven’t found the answer yet:

Do Snapmark icons have to be placed on a jig such that they are outside/surround the artwork that will eventually be engraved?

In my situation, I need to engrave a corporate logo onto 250 cheeseboards that are 9"x9". I’d like to do two at a time, but Snapmarks can be NO MORE than 16" apart. So obviously the Snapmark icons cannot surround the artwork. The jig would look like this:

Will it still work?

Yes it should work if your snaps are within range of each other.

I have found if you change the size of the snapmarks even a little GF has trouble finding them. Your layout looks like it should work.
