Great write – still waiting the arrival of my pre order and this helps take the pain down a bit – my question is the screen belly of the Narwal came out with those horizontal lines at the edge? is that just he grain of the wood?

The ones that run across? Yeah, that’s the grain showing.
The ones at the edges are from me using a very low LPI setting, so you can see the individual lines a little bit.
Higher resolution for the engrave would eliminate that, but it would take longer.
