Halloween is such a fun holiday. For the lids as well as the adults, if they are so inclined.
I noticed the inner space of your letters got engraved in the dog/cat project.
If that was not intentional, examine the forum for Reverse Subpath or just reverse path comments.
Here is a good example with pictures (for Corel, but the reverse path term will be the same in other programs)
