I love those, they’ve been on my list to design one day. (Someone’s going to beat me to it here, no doubt, but I actually built a bunch of miniature ones out of walnut half shells years ago and they were a huge hit with the kids.) 
Until they broke them.

My grandfather use to make these by hand all the time, its one of the few memories I have of him. He passed away when I was young. I also remember he use to build entire hand made full sized doll houses.
