Nice of you to share.

You should know the forum software strips embedded bitmaps from SVG files posted directly. It’s intact in the ZIP file you attached, but you might want to delete the SVG to avoid confusion from people who don’t know.

Edit - I see what you did. The box is the plain SVG above, and the actual map is in the ZIP file, so both are needed. Apologies!

Big fan of star maps - this is very nice indeed! Love the job you did on adding the lighting. I’ll definitely need to make one for my husband, the star gazer.

I am having a little difficulty understanding the actual construction, would you mind posting a pic of the inside and underside (newbie here and trying to understand it all is a little overwhelming)

LED Christmas lights glue inside of a the box. I just run them back a forth glueing them in as I went.

ok great got it, but there is one tiny piece at the very bottom of your file I have no clue where it goes

Its not needed. That box building website puts that little piece with 100mm on it. Im not sure why.

you can make that go away, it’s not required. just change reference to zero and it goes away.
