I haven not had my GF runningin about 4 months. I cut with it about 2 weeks ago and today when I’m trying to cut with the Passthrough it just keeps getting stuck in retry, doesn’t cut first, says it can’t cut then just says retry. When I try to redo it, it’s still in retry. Was GF affected by the Microsoft thing is there a reset we were supposed to do?
The Cloudstrike update did not, to my knowledge, affect the Glowforge interface. Problems with the passthough can be finicky. Until you get it working reliably, use cardboard rather than your actual material. Try cleaning the optics well and using an old file or make a test file with distinct reference points to practice with. Also, check for excessive light shining into the bed of the Glowforge. Sometimes reflections/shadows can an issue with the cameras.

I still use a system I was using before there was a special program that gives me more control but has to be set up ahead of time…
