Stuck on uploading and can’t print

I just received my glowforge a couple of days ago and I’m trying to do my first cut. Once I upload the image and hit print on my pc it goes to uploading and the button on the machine doesn’t light up nor does it give the time to complete project. PLEASE HELP!!!

Sounds like wifi issues. Try resetting your wifi.

I’m sorry about the frustrating start. Is this occurring with every design you try, or with only the designs you’ve uploaded from your computer? Are you able to print a Gift of Good Measure by following the steps outlined on our support page here? Gift of Good Measure

Please let us know if the Gift of Good Measure prints. If it does, would you please share a copy of one of your designs so we can take a closer look?

I’m trying to do the first cut which is the good measures and I keep getting stuck in uploading.

On my first print it looked like I was stuck too. I finally scrolled down in the box on the ui and found a button ath the bottom that said something like I Agree. I clicked that and all went well.
I did a more detailed writeup back in Feb 2020 when I got my Glowforge.
This may not be your problem, but worth a try.

I’m sorry for the ongoing trouble. I’m afraid we’ll need more information to investigate further.

If possible, could you please send me a screenshot of what you see in the Glowforge app when this happens? Make sure to include the rulers in your screenshot and show as much of the bed as possible

To take a screenshot:

Mac: Press Shift-Command-4 and click and drag a box around your image. You’ll find the screenshot file saved on your desktop.
Windows: Click on the Start Menu and type “snipping tool”. Open the Snipping Tool > New then click and drag a box around your image. Click the Save icon and name and save your file.

Send us the screenshot, and we’ll be happy to take a look.
