Yes, I see that, too. Don’t know which order the OP did theirs, but I usually do the engraving first, at the same time as I’m cutting my leather design out. I submit the part to be engraved to the GFUI as part of the cut file. I use masking to prevent char then dye the leather after removing the masking.

Soooo beautiful and creative with the texture and permanent dye works! Did you do the stitching by hand?

I cut it first and then pressed the design into the leather. (Wet the leather, and pressed an engraved acrylic plate into it with vice clamps overnight)

Hi there! I did all of the steps in the order listed in the original post. The engraving details on the inside (logo and lines) were done at time of cutting. The pressing on the exterior was done after cutting and dyeing.

Thank you! Yes, I did the stitching by hand using a stitching pony to hold all of the pieces together.
