I don’t know who originally came up with the idea to use duct tape to remove the protective tape from :proofgrade: materials, but thank you so much!

That was a genius level idea and works so well, Certainly saves my finger nails!

I’m guessing this is wisdom passed down from generation to generation. I can almost remember who was first to mention it here but not quite. But yes, to whoever brought this to the forum, thank you!

Except here’s a reference from four days earlier. It described using duct tape to remove a masking of blue painter’s tape applied to leather.

@Mike13, Actually, I am using Gorilla tape. Am going to try “generic” duct tape next.

I think the first posting after the internet was created was “Duct tape…” No one knew its meaning until recently.

I needed to bend a 14 foot by 5 foot piece of acrylic so rented some for the job.:sunglasses: was long before the internet.
