Tips on how to paint an engraved Acrylic with outstanding A-grade quality?

Thanks! I was thinking this too, but I like to engrave and paint the whole acrylic sheet and wait for it to dry before cutting the individual pieces out of them. I’m unsure of the risks of how fresh paint will react to the glowforge laser, but its something I may have to try.

I’ve used the two-color acrylic for signs:


I used the settings here, which worked perfectly: Refined settings for 1/16" 2-color acrylic (like from Inventables)

@bansai8creations your comment about the wood clothes pin just saved me a TON of time weeding and cleaning intricate etched & painted details. I didn’t have a wood clothes pin but I did have old chopsticks which are equally as soft. This little tip literally saves me a solid minute+ on each one, and time is money! :sweat_smile:
