Huh. Why wouldn’t slowing a 40W (and with the GF increasing the LPI) work? That would create an effectively higher burn than a standard 40W laser pass.
True enough, but my mind went straight to i dont have the power cap’n

I’m not willing to spend big bucks on cermark. I ordered a can of Moly lube on Amazon and have had pretty good results with it. I usually spray at least 3 coats, drying well between each. My results have been clear marking, but more charcoal gray than black.
