Is there a way to cut a trace file?
Can you clarify what you mean by a “trace file”?

Welcome to the forum.
You need to add an vector outline in order to cut something that has been traced in the interface. If you have the premium subscription, it is easy to do using the outline tool.

When you use the trace feature . it only lets me engrave the trace. is there a way to make it cut the pic out?
I have premium, where is the outline tool?
It looks like a mountain. Select an item in the interface, and the tools will appear on the right.
