Trouble starting up

For the past couple weeks my Glowforge pro has taken forever to start up and home/center and most of the time it won’t fully start up and say “ready”. I have to turn off and on a couple times for it to work. Any advice? It now looks ready but the glow forge app still says offline

If you share the actual message you see, someone here might have a suggestion.

“won’t fully start up” is not an error message.

There is no message or I would have shared that. It is “offline”

Then that is a wifi issue. I suggest trying to re-connect using the wifi setup procedures. If those fail, then the machine is incapable of connecting to your wifi.

possibly reset your Wifi gear in your house too. something just could be wonky due to a power blink etc.

I would clean the Lid Camera. If it is too dirty it has trouble finding the head. Also if the top of the head is dirty or a strong light (often the sun) is shining through can be the issue.

If it was a camera issue, it would be stuck on focusing or scanning. Offline means the machine has not connected to wifi and established a connection to the cloud.
