Troubleshooting

My new glowforge, right out of the box is not working. It cannot connect to WiFi and the light is orange. I’ve rebooted a few times, but nothing changes. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions?

Is it hot there?
Do you see the glowforge on your available networks? Try holding down the button until it turns blue. See if that doesn’t initiate the connection sequence.

To initiate Wi-Fi setup, hold the button on your Glowforge for ten seconds until it turns teal. Then go to https://app.glowforge.com/setup and follow the on-screen instructions. There’s more about Wi-Fi setup here.

Regarding the orange button: Is it warm where your Glowforge resides? The Glowforge Basic is designed for use between 60 degrees Fahrenheit (16 Celsius) and 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24 Celsius) and the Pro is designed for operation up to 81 degrees Fahrenheit (27 Celsius).

If you’re still having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, be sure to let us know.
