I am in charge of our school’s makerspace and we have three Glowforge Pros. Two are working find while the third just stopped connecting to the WiFi. When I run the WiFi setup and get to the point where I connect either my phone or my pc to the Glowforge the setup stalls. I am clearly connected to the Glowforge via my Wifi, but the app doesn’t recognize that I am and therefore greys out the arrow to go to the next step and I can’t assign it to our school network. Any help would be appreciated!
The first step is to connect via the Glowforge wifi signal, not your school or phone wifi. Is this one Glowforge broadcasting a signal that you identify and select?
I’m pretty sure that is what I’m doing? Unless I’m supposed to shut off my wifi completely to disconnect from all networks and then reconnect to the Glowforge right away? I will connect to the glowforge wifi signal, but the app doesn’t recognize that I have done so. The next step arrow is greyed out as if I am not connected. I even had our IT assistant try the procedure with his computer and he was getting the same issue.
