I wish the picture would do a better job of showing the dimension in the lamp. The white car is about one inch behind the word Camaro. In person it give the piece a nice depth.

Love it! Is the base custom made also? Would love to see some pics of how it all lines up.

Yes. The entire thing was made with the Glowforge. Hardest part was figuring out how to line up the LED strip with the slots. I wish I had taken more pictures before I assembled it. Hopefully these pictures will help.

Two Color Edge-Lit LED Lamp

[tempImageEYN4UM] This was a ton of work, but I’m so happy with how it turned out I thought I’d share. It’s pretty self-explanatory for the most part. I added two screw holes because the light was leaking out in the middle. I glued mine, but that’s because I did feel like going back and cutting/staining another piece. the idea was to make the LED strips accessible in case one went bad. It’s all made with 1/8 Baltic Birch plywood and medium clear acrylic. There are a lot of options here. …
