Hey folks, I’ve recently started having issues with horizontal lines in some areas of my engrave on various material. I mostly work with acrylic but I’m currently working on a project using leatherette. I’ve posted a picture of a test area, it was great up until we hit the top portion of the image. I’m stumped since there are no grains or imperfections in the material I’m using. If anyone else has experienced or is experiencing the same issues and has found a solution, please help!! My settings for the material is Thin Natural Leather: SD Graphic, Power: 600, Engrave speed: 36, LPI 225

This feels like you have a problem with the physical movement parts of your machine. I would check your rails, pulleys, belts and wheels to make sure they’re clean and not cracked. Especially in the Y direction.

Thank you for your insight. I’m looking into this now. After disassembling the front carriage system, my right most front V-wheel seems to be the likely culprit.
