"Unable to complete print error" and button is orange

I’m in the middle of a print and it says “unable to complete print”.
I don’t know what went wrong. How do I fix this and will it be able to pick up where it left off?

No, unfortunately that message is generally not one you can resume a Print from.

The yellow light indicates an issue, possibly the lid cable, or maybe a signal was dropped. You can run through the checks below to eliminate them…they might fix the issue for you, or if that doesn’t do it, support will need to take a look at your logs. (Tell them specifically what you have tried, or they’ll ask you to try it, and it takes even more time to get it resolved.)

Thank you for the response. I’m following those instructions now. Fingers Crossed.

I’m so sorry you ran into trouble during a recent print. It looks like your Glowforge has been able to print again since contacting us. That’s great!

Could you please let me know if you’re still experiencing any problems?

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you, so I’m going to close this post.

If you are still having trouble, please start a new post or reach out at support@glowforge.com.
