Hello, I am unable to connect to WiFi. We switched modem which combined 5.0 and 2.4, realized that we can’t do that. So I went and exchanged it and now have them split. However now I’m not able to connect to the glowforge. I’m getting a purple light, but the glowforge does come out in my internet, and nothing is happening. I’m not sure what to do as I have already done all the trouble shooting glowforge provided?
When you turn on the Glowforge, is it flashing a teal light or is the print button unlit? I assume you held the print button down until it flashed teal. Does the Glowforge show up in your list of networks?
When I turn it on it’s unlit. I did hold it down to get that purple light, but nothing happened. I do see the glowforge come up under our network. Last night I found the page on how to connect the network, I did it choose our home network via the option on the glowforge website. It kept sayin unable to connect and then listed multiple reasons why It might not be connecting. But I have fixed all those possible issues. I even purchased a WiFi extender and tried connecting to that and nothing
You can try using your phone as a hotspot and bypass your home wifi. You can try using a different browser to use in the setup process.
Does your setup attempt fail when selecting the Glowforge network or when returning to your home wifi after connecting to Glowforge?
