I love the idea of making proofs with cardboard. Now to come up with some more useful ideas for it!

I toss all the cardboard boxes we get from all the crap my wife and I order on line in to a pile in the garage. Every couple of months I break them down and put them out for recycling. But I always set aside a few of the larger, more pristine panels for prototyping in the GF. Not as good for engraves but great for evaluating cuts. Also, cardboard box sides are my primary source of scrap material when I need to make a jig for cutting or engraving something else.
I’ll have to go see how my settings look compared to these.
