My husband is asking if I can engrave this material in our Glowforge Pro? He says it’s urethane or he calls it “fixture plank”.

Lots of advice on polyurethane. Totally cutable, but melty. I thought urethane by itself was a gas - guess not!

It should be safe for the Glowforge itself; urethane doesn’t contain any chlorine or other things likely to damage the electronics.
However, it does release some cyanide when burned. So be absolutely certain that you have a good exhaust setup!
