User Interface Errors for the software team

For the software team.

  1. Errors are never cleared from previous runs, so even though the error is cleared, previous error messages popup.

  2. If you have two machines, being used in two windows of the browser, errors from both machines show up in both windows. i.e. Error from printer 1 shows up in window of printer 2 and vice-versa.

Errors should be cleared each time the user presses Print.

No resolved or past error should be shown again - unless the problem repeats itself.

Errors from other printers should not show in a different printers window.

For example I am looking right now at a “fan speed” error that occurred on printer 1 three hours ago and was resolved. That error shows on both my printers every time I print since.

In the meantime there is an X on the top right of the error box, click to clear.
