I need ideas for what to make with veneer and acrylic!!
Veneer is good for taking an inexpensive board and making it look pricier or doing marquetry. As for acrylic, browse through the “Made on a Glowforge” forum. So much inspiration!

You can make a really classy looking label out of veneer. The adhesive is really strong, so you wouldn’t be able to remove the label.

This is part of an experiment for making two interlocking patterns in different veneers and then fixing them to the sides of a box…

Engrave a shape in the Acrylic and cut the same shape from Veneer, then insert the Veneer in to the engraving. Looks like a wood insert. Cheaper than actually using wood. Also, no gluing.
