Viking Shield with Sword and Sheathe

I have a friend who comes straight from Viking stock, and his 7 year old daughter is a true force to be reckoned with.

I thought it fitting that for her birthday she get something Norse/Viking. I set to work on Illustrator and made her an 18" Viking shield. Now, obviously this shield needed either a battle axe or a sword, and luckily polarbrainfreeze (Toy Sword) had already posted his plans for a sword that went real well with the shield.
From there it was pretty easy to make a custom sheathe for the sword.

All made with 1/4" birch plywood on my Pro

So now this little lady is all set to go into battle!
