Water on bottom of tube?

I just got my 2nd refurbished machine and noticed instantly there’s a bunch of water on the bottom of the tube. My other machine wasn’t like this and didn’t want to bother turning it on if it’s not supposed to be like this.

DO NOT TURN ON YOUR GLOWFORGE!!!

that;s coolant, it should be FULL!!!

You’ll want support to look at that. And it’ll be a replacement.

Or:
Check for puddles, wet or dried. Someone has had a concoction they use(probably a 50/50 coolant though I imagine straight reverse osmosis water would be fine) and you can refill the reservoir and run the machine until the air is purged.

If nothing else it’ll show where the leak was of it didn’t empty due to crapping shipping handling.

Well I’m glad I didn’t power it up…yikes.

adding water is a bad idea, glowforge will not warranty it,
the best thing to do is return it and get a good one.

Yes I don’t want to attempt to fix anything. I just got it today after the first refurbished one wasn’t aligned. 3rd times a charm right LOL.

Those shipping the machines often mistake “Fragile” for “bouncy” and a likely source of the problems.

its marked Fragile so I can throw it across a room, it has to be packed well!
