Weird prints

I know that there are some calibration posts on here, but I have not seen this one yet. I was printing 15 tokens all on proofgrade material. the first 7 turned out messed (like top one in picture) up the last 8 were perfect (like bottom). Any advice?

Looks like your head got bumped out of alignment at some point during the job. Was something sticking over the end of the crumb tray, maybe, or sticking up elsewhere enough that the moving parts might have hit it during cutting?

Well, it was a full sheet of proofgrade plywood

Was it pressed down in between the edges of the crumb tray? When I first got mine I thought I could print all the way at the end of the sheet by shifting it over and letting the other end hang over the end of the crumb tray, and I actually got away with it a few times before it knocked the gantry out of alignment on one print and I realized you’re not supposed to do that.

Could you try a test for me? Please do the following:

  1. Restart your Glowforge.
  2. We included an extra piece of Proofgrade Draftboard with your materials shipment for troubleshooting. Place the Proofgrade Draftboard in the center of the bed and print the Gift of Good Measure on the far right edge of the bed using the default settings.
  3. Take a photo of the print and let us know how it goes!

Thank you in advance,
