Does anyone know how to merge or weld together shapes. This is a simple example. Lets say I want the rectangle box to not show the edge of the circle within the Rectangle shape. How would I do that?

Open the design in a vector editing program like Inkscape and, use a Boolean operation like union.
I don’t think the Glowforge UI supports doing that.

I think if you are wholly using the glowforge interface, your best bet is to select both shapes, and add a outline of “0.” It should give you a new shape that combines the two and you can just move the originals off to the side in case you need them later.
