Annoyingly google changed all the links and broke all my files, 8 years of blogging and thousands of files now need manually relinking

The file is an svg. What format are you intending to use with the Glowforge?

You can download it and then upload directly to the GFUI without ever loading it into another program. But if you want to edit anything for the laser you’re going to need a program that opens .svgs - Inkscape is the one 
recommends, but there are dozens (hundreds?) out there.
