my machine wont cut on the left side of my design. Im cutting acrylic 1/8 thick and the right side come out like butter. Help
I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues - but we’ll help as much as we can, and shortly a staff member will get here and they can help a little more!
Is your material warped, or on something (like a leftover piece of material or the edge of the tray)? A difference in height can cause that to happen
You should post up a screenshot of your GFUI including everything from material type on the left to the name of your machine on the right, and if you can, your art (to remove the possibilities that it’s art related)
Double check that your crumb tray is seated properly and flat. As @deirdrebeth says, it is important that your material be uniformly flat. Cuts will be off if the tray is not flat or if the material is even slightly warped.
ok thank you
its flat… it just started doing this
You’re going to need to provide more information if you want anyone will be able to help you
It’s not on anything… I cleaned out the tray and cleaned off the liens… idk what else to do
I’m so sorry to hear that your print didn’t cut through. Could you please post a photo of the front and back of the print? Please also let us know the date and time of the print (including time zone) in your reply.
It’s been a little while since I’ve heard back from you. I hope that’s because everything worked out! If not, just let me know and we’ll get it solved.
It’s been a little while since I’ve seen any replies on this thread so I’m going to close it. If you still need help with this please either start a new thread or email support@glowforge.com.
