This is a tutorial using Image Paint, but I think the basics are the same. Some good tips.

Interesting software. I like that it keeps an image of the actual pieces of veneer you are using, and updates it with the holes that have been cut out of it.

One of the vendors at the NBM show last year in Long Beach had an Image Paint display with some amazing work and some pamphlets. They do have a 30 day free trial download- maybe when I get my Glowforge™
