Year of when thread or post was written?

Tonight I see this closed thread dated Dec 17, tomorrow? Not likely, time zone of east coast? I’m on Pacific time so that is possible but not likely that the thread is already closed. Please put the year on the dates of posts, things could be completely irrelevant a year or 2 later: Here is the thread: Designing: Is there no save button in the app / GFUI?
I am writing this 2018, December 16. This has confused me many times when I see info about “this will happen soon” or “this has been discontinued” and I don’t even know what year the post is referring to. OK, enough of that, I bet I’m not the only one who wants this for Christmas!

That’s December 2017, aka Dec. '17.

If you hover the mouse over the date, the entire date, year, time pops up.

Thanks for the answer @Jules , that’s right. Additionally, the time zone of the forum is in Pacific time. I’m going to close this thread - if you have any other questions, go ahead and post a new topic. Thanks!
