No, no…no need for concern. It’s always been that way and doesn’t impact the alignment issue that winds up sending units back.

We don’t actually know what causes those - they can see more from the individual data on our units than we can.But my “after” shots have always been off by half an inch or more - I still get perfect cuts.

Oh and if you need to add something to a design that you have open, there’s a way to get perfectly accurate results by aligning to the Pink preview on the screen instead of the actual cut:

I feel like an idiot for taking this long to discover this little trick, but better late than never I guess… You don’t align additions to the existing cut, you align them to the PREVIEW! And they come out perfectly! Thanks for the tips. I made a new test image, but I think that I have hit a reproducible positioning bug. I will start a new thread to show the before and after image and upload the svg files.
