Exhaust help

I am looking to add an extension to exhaust my Glowforge up and over the roof of our school. I plan on using 4x3 downspout and a cap on top to keep out rain. Is the fan in the unit enough or do I need to add an inline blower?

You would definitely need an additional fan to push the exhaust that far.

The internal fan is only designed to push the exhaust the length of the provided ducting (only several feet) generally out a window.
