The lid on my Glowforge Plus no longer closes all the way! I bought it back in 2019. No issues til now.
The area on right corner hinge is popped up. Seems unglued. I saw a fix on YouTube which involves using epoxy and then laying a board on top to let it dry for at least 24 hours.
Anyone else ever do this. This is soooo upsetting.

I did contact Glowforge and received a not very helpful email response.
Bottom line, purchase another machine or ask you guys. I am soooo disappointed!

I ran into the same issue. Lid hinge became unglued. Tried quick fixes at no avail. One day I decided to fix it once and for all. Got some really strong epoxy specially made for glass and plastic (mix 2 tubes). Disconnected the light cable, unscrewed the hinges. I very carefully separated the hinges and brackets with a puddy knife. Carefully cleaned all the old glue away. Then I glued and clamped it. Next morning I put it back together. Worked awesome! Happy as can be.
