Internal lighting off?

Hello everyone,

I received the Glowforge Plus I ordered today, everything seems to be working fine but I noticed that the LED-lights inside the machine are off during the operation.

Well that’s annoying.

Two questions:

1. Could I somehow fix this myself? Everything else seems to be working, including the camera and the lid sensor.

2. Will the LED strips not working lead to potential issues during operation?

Take a look at where the ribbons clip into the wiring. The clip are towards the back of the lid. They may be a little loose and make the connection when you lift the lid but lose it when it’s closed.

Actually the LEDs are never lit, either with the lid opened or closed.
