I think you might want to check the cables as per this nice post by @jules and a couple following

Internal lights not working

You might want to take a look at the lid cables. The connections shown in red below should be checked to make sure they are closed. [cable-checks] I’d also closely examine the cable at the area circled in green and take a close up photo or two of it for support to take a look at.
