I am trying to make these letters, and it looks great on illustrator but when I upload to glowforge the flowers are no longer with that clipping mask? Is there a tutorial on this type of project? I cannot find anything.

Clipping doesn’t usually transfer from my experience. You would need to add a box that covers the the area you don’t want to delete then Subtract in Illustrator or similar program. Or you could just erase the area you don’t need with the eraser.

The simple answer is - clipping is not supported in the GF UI. You need to modify the design to actually remove the areas you applied the clipping path to.
You’ll find more discussion in the previous post on how to do that in your chosen app.

For this particular design you might not have to fix anything. I assume you are cutting it out anyway and the unwanted engraved part will be on the waste material. It would be faster to not engrave the extra area.
