Matching PG Walnut Hardwood

Hello!

So I’m finally running out of the Glowforge PG Walnut Hardwood (1/8th)… It is a sad day because I have been waiting on a restock email for what seems like months.
I make jewelry with the material and am looking for a close color match. Everywhere I have looked has the walnut material untreated, does anyone know how I can bring out the dark wood color? Or does anyone know of a supplier that carries a very similar color wood/plywood?

THANK YOU!

Any clear wood finish would do it. I like wipe on satin polyurethane. You can finish before you cut, and then use masking once the finish is dry. The end result will be quite similar.

Walnut varies a good bit in terms of how dark it is. You could always use a stain if you wanted to darken it further, that’s completely up to you.
