My laser was running well during a 17 min print job when suddenly I started to hear a loud hum. I kept a close eye on the laser as it worked through prints. It kept getting louder and louder and now the vibration is so loud and strong, that it vibrates any acrylic cuts off the machine. I cleaned the lens and checked for any debris. Fan was slightly cleaned.
There are multiple fans. Make sure you clean them all (did you check the exhaust fan?)
I’d hazard the exhaust fan is highly unbalanced if it’s that loud. But each of the other two fans on the head unbalanced could shake the head rather viciously.
Also, look for a missing fan blade…
I had the exhaust fan exhibit that violent vibration, and it needed cleaning, which fixed it.
