Settings for 1/4 inch birch plywood

I’ve got the 45 watt model. Was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for what 1/4 birch plywood settings might be to cut and engrave with? Also anyone have any cautions? This is some plywood from the woodcraft store where apparently others in my area source for laser projects and things, hopefully the glue won’t be a problem, we’ll see. But anyway would love any tips or recommendations. Still pretty new at all this.

I’ve cleaned the windows on my PRU once after noticing that “proven” power/speed settings weren’t quite making it through 1/4" birch ply (from the same batch). After a quick (but very careful) wipe, burnination was again complete. The inner surface of lid and the tube do get pretty gunky, so I clean them with a damp lint-free cloth from time to time. Jules is correct, though – vinegar & water would cut through the residual film.

Thought it was going to be a success

So the alignment of the re-cut came out fine. I used a slightly different jig, and placement was done all in the artwork on a 12x20 canvas. Can’t really say what caused the first go-around to come out skewed. Next issue is getting a consistent cut through the material. The material is 1/4” (really 0.236”ish) Baltic birch plywood. Calling it proofgrade thick dradtboard cuts through about 90% of the time. I switched to a manual cut and slowed it down as well as correcting the material thickn…

Google doc with settings

So there was a Google doc that had different types of woods and thickness and what settings to cut on. Anyone have any idea where I can find that? Wish I had saved it before!! I’m using a 1/4in sheet of Baltic birch and I can’t seem to be able to cut through!! Tried twice and it just engraved and doesn’t cut through. Really hope it’s just an issue of settings and nothing wrong with the wood or the laser head.

I was being quite additive, you were posting a question that is done to death, so it seemed pretty obvious you should go back to searching.

Hope you get your cuts to work, but maybe you were a little off base about how unique your question was.
