How does it stand up to flexing? Will the print crack or even delaminate?
Itâs stood up so far. Basically think of the ink as acrylic nail polish. Itâs pretty durable (you can use flexible white ink if needed but thatâs for really flexing like a hat patch. For reasons I donât understand it doesnât mask as well as the rigid white does
I havenât performed long-term testing. But the notebook cover seems rigid enough for the hard ink.
They have ALLLL the colors! In mini-golf it helps! ![]()
On a separate note, I love seeing all of your creations. I have eufyenvy! ![]()
No Eufy for me, but Iâm right there with you on the envy!!
Finally got my WhamBam Ultim8 jig that I had kickstartered (has one for the small and large bed as well as the silicone corner, flat and round jig pieces. Works really well and super easy to install (pro tip make sure the clips lock into the groove fully flush to the sides or they will pop and jam against the case. Great part is now overspray is a shrug level thing, just flex the bed when it gets really gross and the ink flakes off into the trash.
We just returned from the Grand Canyon and saw all the magnets at the gift shops and figured, well I can do that and better than any of theirs⌠We will ignore the one I had to toss due to misspelling (duh!). Got the image from my CreativeFabrica account, and cropped it to the size.
That turned out great! The colors are nice and bright.
And at only twice the cost because I already have thousands of dollars of equipment & suppliesâŚ
⌠Says every maker everywhere ![]()
You didnât like the âGrand Crayonâ Iâm guessing
I assume that involved lots of recreational pharmaceuticalsâŚ
I saw someone doing printed nails so had to try, and no I didnât ask the commissioner of MLB I did it anyway⌠In fairness our hospital is the official hospital for the Red Sox. They are 0.9mm raised. After printing I threw them in the Form Cure station to truly cure it down based on suggestions from people who actually do this for a living.
Lol..actually, it was primarily a kids show at a local community theater, where the kids were crayons (the elder crayons were the shorter, and hence younger, actors.). I was Mr. Octopus, who was a hired muscle for Ninja Mean and Ninja Nasty. But I was depressed. I didnât want all those tentacles, I just wanted friend. (my tentacles were also controlled by kids, and they werenât nice to me, so I tried to sell them. Ten Tickles for Sale)
Nephewâs birthday, and he loves golf. 3D printed a few accessories, and uv printed on the golf balls, green markers, divot fixer, tee height gauge, etc.
Iâm not looking at any of these cool projects! ![]()
@henryhbk - I didnât think about doing nails like that, even though I used to use sticker-type things on my nails years ago. But to use the Eufymake to do them is awesome!
@tjones - that play sounds like it was fun! I googled it and there are several storylines, all of which sound good. Iâll have to tell my grandson about them for his kids. Theyâll be 3 this year and should enjoy it.
@pubultrastar - I never thought of looking for golf stuff for the 3D printer. Our daughter and SIL have recently gotten into playing, and it would be great to make something for them. I canât do the uv printer stuff on them though (since I donât have one!), but Iâm sure I could customize them somehow. Your nephew is going to love those!
But now you clearly need one!
Itâll be a long while before I can afford one! I think weâre going to be needing to save up for a new a/c unit. And pay off a new car we just bought in April, finish the houseâŚ. I really need to set priorities before I buy more fun, even though very useful, toys!
