New proofgrade QR stickers are...absurd

I’m a HUGE fan of proofgrade and go through hundreds of sheets of the stuff regularly.

The old QR code stickers were fine as they didn’t cover much of the usable etching area, but these new stickers are downright silly.

For cuts it’s obviously not problematic, but any kind of scoring or etching will invariably have issues with this new massive sticker.

On top of that, they’re impossible to pull off cleanly.

Yes, these look great…for sitting on a shelf in a store. But for a working shop that just needs quick, easy to use material, these are crazy.

You can always put it in upside down and manually choose the material.

Ugh, don’t try to get practical with me. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s a swell idea!

Tim beat me to it.

My camera stopped reading the QR code a year or so in anyway…

I remove the masking to engrave, so as to keep the detail, so I’m okay with them. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I recall a story from the before time…
a story of magic invisible barcodes…

Yeah, wasn’t the original plan to print the QR codes in UV-reflective ink in multiple locations on the masking? That would have been convenient.

I am always surprised when the QR codes work on my machine.
